What is the Project Comenius Regio?

The aim of the Project is strengthening European dimension in education by promoting the cooperation between local and regional education authorities in Europe, the realization of the aims of the program Comenius and, as a consequence, the enrichment of the offer for students.

“Digital media – ICT? – Know how!” is realized by Regional Partners of Podkarpacie (Subcarpathian Region), Poland and Bavaria (Germany). The coordinating institution is Subcarpathian Education Board in Rzeszow.

Main aims of the Project are:

-          opening continued bilateral future cooperation,

-          conviction of people involved in education that ICT is important in the teaching and learning process in schools,

-          development of learning methods  with the use of digital media,

-          learning about the education system of the project partner relevant to future cooperation,

-          collection and dissemination of the examples of good practices in both regions, such as learning how to learn, gaining skills and key competences, etc.,

-          collection of experiences in the use of online communication for the cooperation of the partner groups.
